Starting a project, sugestions?
depends on the year and brake caliper.. my 96 use a single piston brake caliper so a 15" rim would work on newer trucks they used a double piston caliper and the 15" rim wont work...
I have never been a fan of a body lift, but I know they are inexpensive and not to hard to put on. I am not looking for a 5" suspension lift, but the cheapest one I can seem to find is 800.00 and I believe that one had blocks to lift the rear which I am not 100% keen on.
Know where Ican get a good lift for a good price. Dont know if there is a site that might be selling a 'blemished' lift kit for the truck but I would not be against it.

Think I have decided to go with the 305/70R16 Mickey Thompson MTZ's on some 16x10 rims 4.5' backspacing. Basically because after some research 5 inch suspension lifts are kinda expensive for a good kit with shackle flips and springs. Goin with the 16x10 so that I can use the rims I buy now later if (more like when) I decide to go bigger and wish I had gotten 10 inch rims. Hope it turns out like I want it for now..... If it doesnt there may be some 305/70R16 Mickey Thompsons for sale in the near future.
