Default Horrible day

So im trying to fix my head lights. My low beams dont work. Parking lights and fog lights come on, and when i click back on the switch to turn brights they flash but dont stay on. Like if i hold it back they stay on but when i release it they turn off. Went to check the bulbs and found that the driverside bulb was instaled wrong. it was just sitting in the socket. The retaining ring wasnt secured. So i take the battery out to have some more room to work. Then i relize i closed my door and my Keys are inside. So now a lock smith is on its way to get into the truck. I probably would of searched around on here about how to get into it but its about 4 degrees out right now and my coats in the truck to.

as for fixing the headlights. Ichecked under the dash for the wire that can fall out of the connector and didnt see anything loose. im not sure if i took the right panel off. Its the black one that goes around the ignition. Checked the Fuse and that looked good. When i was taking off the driverside bulb i saw a wire that looked like it was cut that came from the blue connector. So thats where i am now. Are thoes blue connectors something universal or specific from dodge?

Ok update. Took the battery tray out and found that there were these weird blue connectors that spliced into the wires from the harnes to the light bulb on the driverside. they both had another wire going from them but were cut at some point. Took them off and coverd the wires so its just the three wires leading to the lights but still no low beams. Im starting to think it has to be the multi switch in the truck. Do bigger bulbs up the amperage to the switch?
