I have the same problem with mine, and these may very well find their way into my cab...

EDIT: They seem to lack any provisions for a seatbelt, so if you go with them, then you'd have to install aftermarket seat belts. 4-pt harness anyone?

 

Take it too an upholstery shop. I work at oneand I just did my seat today. It felt and looked like a 300 pound guy had been sitting in it and leaning to the left. The foam was all hard, flat, and dead. Steamed the foam to make it soft again, added some foam under the cushion, and cut out the outside and cut in a new piece. It would probably cost you 100-200 bucks. Should only take a couple hours.

Since I started my search, I also added heated seats to my seat project. I am in CT, and miss my heated seats I used to have in my VW Golf.
I found a kit for $99 per seat.

 

I keep searching and still no luck, there has to be some one out there!!! Ok, I can give it up, but who sells the after market seats, I am getting to that point $$ be damned. How about this one: What is the product ## of the seat cushion, maybe that is the way to search the web???

 

I gave up on finding new cushions. I have a feeling its a dealer only item, meaning $$$$.
Since this post I have taken my seat apart and found that the cloth is glued to the cushion to keep those creases on the inner portion of the seat the way they are.
I got some 2" matting from ac moore and it helped, but shortly after flattened out.

 

try grabbing a seat out of a '99, '00, or '01. I haven't had that problem at 8 years can't imagine the seats are that different.

The more expensive the memory foam is, the more it will be hard and stiff when the truck is cold. Also, my Tempurpedic pillow at home seems to retain sweat stains and quite possibly body odor. In an environment that is subject to extreme hots and colds, I wouldn't think that it would be the best material to use.

The cheaper white "memory foam" found in some Sam's Club and Costco mattress toppers doesn't have near the density or body heat forming properties that the tempurpedic material has. It also doesn't seem to hold sweat stains either. I would suggest the thicker 2 inch over the 1 inch as it compresses pretty easily.

I tried the Sam's Club topper before I went full-on Tempurpedic. Night and day difference. Sometimes you really do get what you pay for.

 

HankL, I found that link a while back, I used a magazine from LMC instead of the small carpet they used. I found no real difference.
thats when I went out and got the matting material. it helped for a week or so. Now I can't tell there is any difference. My wife drove my truck a while back and after sitting in the passenger seat, I was inspired to do this thread... Still jealous of the passenger side seat.
