depends on the bar mine mounts to the frame brackets that the tow hooks mount to so it would look kinda stupid to have your bumper like 3 inchs higher than where it should be and the push bar down lower thats really the only reason i could see to it think all you would have to do is make some brackets to raise the bar level with the bumper

Here is how mine looks with a 3" body lift. The only difference is that the trim on the bottom of the bumper only needed to be trimed about an inch to 1-1/2". The bar doesn't sit above the bumper, which for me is good. This way I can mount lights on top and they will not be higher than the headlights. It bolts to the frame and is not affected by the bumper position. It's for looks and light support and I dought it willhelp with an impact.

get one that mounts to the bumper instead of the frame. The ones with the light guards and stuff are called grill gaurds.

No don't get one that mounts to the bumper instead of the frame because then it's garbage. I mean if you're just doing it for looks then it'll be the way to go. But if you're trying to protect your truck it's trash. I mean it's definetly better than nothing, but if you hit a deer or something with it it's just going to break. plus it doesn't have a skid plate on the bottom of it.

Heavy duty replacment bumpers are really the way to go if you're looking for protection.
Grill Guards do look nice though. But for 400 or 500 bucks... I would get something more effective.

here's the stealth base bumper with the 3inch body lift modification -

And here's the full size stealth with titan gaurd -

The company will make and send you brackets to mount the bumper with a 3 inch body lift. If you want to hit stuff with your truck and not mess your front end up this is what i recomend. A buddy of mine has the full size on his 05 dodge diesel. he ran it through an abandond house and didnt put s scratch on anything behind the bumper These babies aint for show.

Bull****. What was the house made of? Foam? I would like to have the bankroll of someone who can afford to run a '05 Cummins through a house, abandoned or not. LOL

Yeah I dunno about all that. I mean I'm sure you could drive it through a house, but not without doing any damage just because of the bumper. The roof and windshield and **** would still get scraped up and smashed up.
