I am hoping to pick up 1 or 2 with a new muffler system soon. I am going with that Summit stainless headpipe and cat kit, 2.5 all the way back with a Super 44. I just have to find a tailpipe and a nice stainless tip. I was in O'reilys and they sell flowmaster 40's for 79. Comparable to ebay.

Flowmasters only cost $70-80 everywhere except the flowmaster website. They're like $140 on there.

Anything from 8.8 to 13.6. All depends on what you're doing, where you're going. I get 25-28 in my car but I can't tow my jetski with it, or the truck, so that's where the truck comes into play.

12 MPG cityjust calculated today at my recent fillup (250 miles 21 gallons), but I have been running around town likea madman since i just moved and there are a lot of stoplights. However, When I was driving cross country towing my motorcycle on a flatbed trailer, and my bed packed with my belongings(2600lbs total according to weight slips) I was getting 11.67 MPG on the highway. Thats not bad AT ALL. I was using 92 octane and 4 oz of Lucas Fuel additive at each fillup during the trip.

THis was also done without my CAI...someone stole it and I have a POS edelbrockfoam open element that looks like a motorcycle seat...the POS triangle thing.

Note, I haven't installed the hypertech coil yet...I have the MSD 6AL and am gonna install that tomorrow. I will then do another fuel calc with that...then another once i change my fuel filter and buy the Fitch Fuel Catalyst. I read up on that fuel catalyst and it looks promising.

For some reason I get really sad mileage on my truck, usually 9 MPG...it was better before when i was running 285/75/16, but i just bumped up to a set of 35"s(nitrogen filled) and it really sucks it down, my buddy told me to get different gears since mine were still stock, mayb this summer when gas hits $5/gal...

I have a 97 1500 with the 5.9 and I'm getting around 11 mpg, but then again it is the winter and I like to have some fun in the snow. In the summer i get around 12.5 mpg. I don't have any mods so its pretty much all stock.

I usually get about 10 in the city and 13-14 on the highway. "Dodge Ram" and "good gas mileage" can never be used in the same sentence.
