I believe you are thinking of the OTHER plenum. The heater core and evap. are located in the a/c-heater plenum box under the dash. The one being discussed here is the intake plenum on the top of the motor. Unless I misunderstood something...which is happening alot lately.

ok, got the runners all cut down and smoothed over. didn't end upbothering with the injector ports, i've just f'n had enough. almost done with reassembly and i need LOTS of beer. i'll post a couple of pics hopefully tomorrow if i get the time. thanks everyone for your help.
