Default New Exhaust (VID)

This is the exhaust I just put on my truck.
Flowmaster Delta 50 Single 3" in Dual 2.5" out with 3" Stainless tips

I haven't gutted the cat yet, but it is coming. With the windows up, you can hear the exhaust on start up, with the windows down you can hear it all the time. It is exactly what I was looking for, just enough sound to make the truck sound like a V8 American truck but not loud enough to be abnoxious to either the people in the cab or those around the truck. Whole setup cost me $280

Enjoy

No! It's not that quite is it? LOL, I really need to see some videos. Theres a slight chance here you might just be brainwashed from driving around with them straightpipes for so long! Then we'll go from there as to what we think you should do my friend.

I agree, I was reading about your displeasure with your 44s and that sucks, but I have a buddy with the exact same setup only a 5.2 and 44 instead of my 5.9 and Delta 50 and his is a LOT louder then mine. I think you are just used to straight pipes or something is wrong.

Stock diesel trucks are practically as loud as straight piped gas trucks. I seriously doubt you're going to draw THAT much attention to yourself. Unless you never miss an opportunity to stomp on the skinny pedal

People say the super 44 is loudest among all the flowmaster series...But i actually think the super 40 (which is what im getting next month) and the original 40 series are a tad louder. The Super 40 might be the deepest sounding flowmaster out of the series and its loud. If it was me i would probably return them mufflers and get a set of the flowmaster super 40's or the original 40 series. Also, make sure you check all your piping, make sure its the correct size that you wanted. How are you running your pipes? you could have the pipes turned down, might be louder.

lol i dont wanna jack his thread. but i have the dual pipes exiting out infront on the passenger tire. so it should be louder than someone running pipes all the way out the back. thats why i cant wait to take the cats off,. im hoping to be louder than 20 dodge ahah
