Default Long Tubes for 1994 Dodge Ram 1500?

I noticed Pace setter has the long tube headers for the 1996-2001 Dodge Rams. Why won't they work for us 94-95 guys? Whats the difference?

They will fit they just dont have the E.G.R. port on them and 94-95 Rams have egr. I have heard of some ppl on another forum just kinking off the tube on the engine and installing them anyways but I dont know if it will screw with anything more than a MIL light.

According to Chrysler performance engineer Larry Shepard
the optimum header tube length is about 42 inches
for 5.2/5.9 V8s
so just about everything for sale
should be called short tube
and the hp gains
are in the 1-3% range if a low backpressure exhaust is also fitted.

It you want to go with the right header
you will have to have them modified or custom built.
