needed a truck and the ram was the cheap. It has ran strong since the day i got it (almost 3 yrs ago). the only problem i have had was the tranny. and plus dodges look better than fords and i would rather walk than drive a chevy.

 

Had a 1998 singlecab 2-wheel drive yota, I wanted something that would tow my motorcycles fit the whole family in it and 4x4. Went to the local yota dealer to look at used Tundras (Way to much for my pocket) was getting ready to leave and salesman told my wife about a sweet low mileage dodge in the back that just came back from the detailers and I was like "a friggin dodge" what the hell I'll look.....
I was like holymolly thats a goodlooking truck...Went home found this web site and did some reading, went back the next day and test drove it and was very impressed told him I'll take it...it's a 96 with 35,000miles on the OD came with a 12month/12,000mile bumper to bumper warranty and still feels and drives like a new truck...

 

i used my f150 alot for camping and towing but the 1/2 ton sucked with all the wood i carryand one day i brought a buddy to look for a truck and saw my ram sitting there so i took it for a ride and liked it. it was a cheap 3/4 ton and was bigger than my f150 held more weight bigger cab so i scooped it up. i really like the truck now that ive got it runnning good. i love having the 3/4 ton. ive always been a ford guy in my opinion you cant beat a super duty now i used to love the powerstroke but now i love the cummins it just sounds soo good. so if you could stuff the cummins into the superduty ide buy it. i know alot of you will crucify me for saying that but with all the competition in trucks out there you have to admit for a work truck a superduty is a bad *** truck. dodge has come a long way with there hd's and there reall nice but when you need to pull 26k pounds a sd is the way to go

 

i bought mine because foreign made cars aren't ment for red necks who try and take them off road lol

 

Always had to worry about the cargo area of my tahoe getting getting messed up whenever I tossed stuff back there. Decided a fullsize 4x4 pickup would solve the problem. The 1/2 ton Ram was cheaper than most Chevys and GMCs...and it looked badass. ;-)

 

Few reasons... I needed a truck(my Corvette wasnt cutting it for what I needed to do), I love the way they look lifted or stock(few trucks can look meaner), I think they are some of the best sounding trucks after you put exhaust on, and when I was looking they had both trucks at the dealership I was looking at, a Chevy Silverado Z71 and my 01 Dodge Ram 4x4 Off Road. I drove both and left the dealership with the Dodge. Dont regret it one bit, I LOVE MY TRUCK!

Had a 94 Chevy 4x4....HATED the brakes and rearend....would still love to torture the engineer who let that crap go out the door....ahem....

Got so sick of the above I looked at a brand-new, bright red 2000 Dodge Off-road with my daughter. She loved it and I didn't need much coaxing. Still sorry I got rid of it, now.

Bought a 2004 off-road....didn't like it...especially the tick in the engine, so now I have my 2001 off-road after 3 months of looking and driving over 1000 miles in one day to find it. It's in perfect condition thanks to the original owner. I love it and don't care what may break on it soon. It'll be a labor of love.

My only regret is that I didn't try to buy a new 03 with a V-10 back then.

 

My Chevy was giving me too many problems, so I drove past a dealer and I seen the aSport sitting there so I turned around and pulled in, later than evening I drove it home. Fourteen years later she still sitting the driveway. Its got a few dings init and the clearcoat has started coming off the roof and a little bit on the hood but thats ok.I,ve replaced 1 starter,1 waterpump,1 thermostat, 1 coil,1 cat and a new exaust but that was something I wanted. Other than that she runs great. I will keep this truck till she don't run anymore. I hope I didn't just jinx myself!!!

my reason. the price and the ability to haul sh*t. i love the stylings of dodge. wanted a hemi. got a 318 lol. it was either the 318 truck or a '75 318 dodge dart sport but the dart needed frame work so i sed ram it is!
