lift or lower

got a 96 ram 1500 sport 2wd , want to make some changes, do not know if I want to lift or lower the truck, anyone got ideas or maybe pics of both,thanks, Lee

Air dam, rocker panel, rake it lambo doors. Can you lift a 2wd?

Yeah you can lift a 2 wheel drive truck. I'd be careful about the kind of lift and how high you go. I know someone on this board (name escapes me) just lifted their 2wd like 6 inches and they can't get the truck alligned properly, so the front tire look like this / \

Just something to be leary of. But if you're just trying to lift 2 or 3 inches to fit decent size tires under it you shouldn't have a problem.

But if you don't know wether you want to lift or lower it why not just leave it where it is? That sounds like a fair compromise

yea ive never known someone to be in between a lift kit or a lowering kit. depends on what you do with it i guess. do you like to go off pavement, or do you like to go fast.

well I always say if it's 2wd mind as well lower if it's 4x4 then jack the sucker up.

I also say lift if towing. Nothing is uglyer than a lower truck towing and having to use a raised hitch to do it! People say 2wd should never be raised! But hell with them do what you like!
