im looking at getting a cowl hood or some kinda after market hood for my 96. im curious those who have them where did u order yours and about how much was it. im looking at a few and they are about 350 or so.

also im wondering for those who have painted there trucks a new color or the same color what was the cost that was paid for on it? im looking at completely painting my truck and have all the exterior molding off the sides. i was quoted a price of 4900, but i thought that was kinda high. just curious on these questions. any help or pics of your hoods and all would be great. thanks

 

Where'd you find a cowl hood for $350? Everything I've ever seen runs from $500 - 800 on average.

 

well i have not went out and found one. but the body shop that i went to for the estimate sells them for that price.

 

I cut up my stocker hood and added a 6 pack scoop. About $275 done
