Just installed an MSD 6AL in my 5.2
It started easily, thanks for the DIY padodgeram!
THe only thing is when ipush down on the accel (in park) and let go, it sounds like its gonna cut off, then comes back. I haven't changed the cap/rotor, but can there be anything else wrong. It idles at around 600RPMs normally.
Vac leak maybe?
Thanks

PAdodgeram, Already ordered it from summit. My commute is only 2 miles to work and i will take her easy. I am no too worried since it has the Accel Tuneup package (Cap rotor wires) that was installed 2 years ago (I was in iraq for 14 months of that time and my father in law drove her once in a while). I can get by until it ships.
I am actually not in NJ, but from Closter...its in Bergen County. I amin the army, so I move around a lot. Now I am in oklahoma.

Indyram, Its decent looking because of the camper top i have on it. My wife still kids me about it and calls me "Granpa". I think it looks sweet, its the same color as the truck and is the same height as the roof. Looks like a lifted SUV. And it keeps my stuff dry when I move.
In addition to my MSD setup, I found a stock air intake at a junkyard since mine was stolen while i was in iraq (long story, almost got my truck legally "stolen" as well). I was looking for some spare parts for the ignition (wires and connector) and saw it still had the air intake. Too bad no K&N in there, so i had to buy one. Got that and a "new" fan shroud with the coil connector for 50 bucks.
My fan shroud has taken a beating from me sitting on it while changing my cap and rotor. The swears that come from my mouth when i do that job.
You guys have any tips on making a cap/rotor change easier?
