I just took it easy for a few hundred miles for break in period.

Also for got one other tip for you. There are a few wires that connect to the valve cover bolts. The main one you need to be careful with is the one on the back of the passenger side valve cover. It is a grounding wiring that goes to the firewall. Just need to remember those when your reinstalling the covers. Don't want to forget to hook those up.

Search around this forum. Lots of stuff written here on the topic of performance. Search for Harland Sharp or 1.7 rockers, Fastman TB, and round filter. That will get you started, lots to read.

Done, Gonna post some pic and eloborate on where I deviated from the PS article.

First I gotta clean the engine:

Here's how the rockers came, strange but ingenious packing system, the back peels off kind of like a cheese slice wrapper, never seen anything like that before.

I purchased some really ugly colored zip ties from Home Depot a couple months ago, I zip tie each thing I move in the engine so I can remember what all I've moved by looking for the bright colors before I fire it up.

Tons of room to work on the passenger side with all the stuff zip-tied out of the way:

Pulled the valve covers and set them down on cardboard and reinserted bolts and wire holders where they were in the engine bay. Driver's side in on the bottom.
That's and inline 8 box BTW.
