RE: Seafoam
As specified on their site:

How Many Mechanics Use SEA FOAM
In Tune-Up of 4 Cycle Gasoline Carbureted or Fuel Injected Engines
Autos, Trucks, and Tractors
[ol][ol][ol][/ol][/ol][*]With engine warm, slowly pour 1/3 to 1/2 pint through carburetor or throttle body throat. (If vehicle is port injected slowly pour SEA FOAM through direct manifold vacuum line that will feed all cylinders, possible sources are P.C.V. valve or brake booster line.) This will pull SEA FOAM down on top of the pistons and to the back of the intake valves to dissolve carbon. Turn ignition off. Restart engine after 5 minutes. If severe carbon build up is apparent, use more Sea Foam as previously directed. Make sure exhaust is well ventilated when using Sea Foam in these various ways as fumes will be extreme for a short time[*]Pour 1/3 to 1/2 pint into oil crank case to clean rings, lifters, dirty parts and remove moisture.[*]Pour 1/3 to 1 full pint into fuel tank to clean injectors, carburetor jets, fuel lines and remove moisture.[*]Immediate Results: Smoother idle, increased R.P.M.'s better throttle response and improved performance. See label on can for detailed results for use in each area.[/ol]
My question is, does it work?

Where can you get the Mopar Combustion Chamber Cleaner and how much is it? How do you use it?

Yes, Seafoam and MCCC both work, quite well actually in the intake. I just did mine last night and it cured a stumble I had. It's nickname is "Tune-Up in a Can". The MCCC is better IMO because its a spray instead of liquid and you don't need to worry about measuring out amounts. I did see some Seafoam "Deep Creep" for the first time 3 days ago that I guess is the same thing. but it was 6.99 a can. Same as MCCC at the dealership and the MCCC is made specifically for our engines. Seafoam creeps me out just a bit as it seems to be great for everything, Marine, Auto, 2 and 4 cycles, fuel systems, oil crankcase, it slices, it dices, it juliennes. Just seems too good to be true somehow.
One tip for whichever you use, get the engine up to FULL operating temp before you start and try to let it soak overnight, you'll get max benefit from it.

RE: Seafoam
I used that deep creap down my intake like...4 months ago and it didn't seem to do much for me. Infact it was quite a pita! Maybe it was because of that vacuume leak that wasn't detected for like forever. Pouring that stuff in ever so slowly down the throttlebody, I still managed to stall the motor. I honestly couldn't pour any slower. I even put a funnel right in the center of the throttle body so it would split down both and at a trickle rate, she still stalled. I eventually got 1/3 of a can in there and shut her off. Asked my little brother if he wanted to see a smoke show and let him come out and start it up. My father assumed I was going to smoke my tires and gave me a 5 min lecture on how I wasn't gonna keep doing that in the driveway. That took care of 5 of the 15 minutes. Let my brother start it up and... wha? nothing? Maybe a small amount of white smoke but you can get that if you keep cranking the fuel pump and start it if you wanted too. Let her idle.. and nada. My father came out and said how I wouldnt mess with things like that on the truck, it works, leave it alone. Then after there was no smoke, he then told me that the straight 6 mustang smokes more than that. Wheres the smoke show? ugh.. oh well. I still have 2/3's of a can left. Truck has 92g on her. Maybe I'll try the brake booster line when I get back home some time next month. then dump the rest in the tank.

You can get it from the dealership, and I think that I paid $7.00 for it. You start the truck up and let it reach operating tempature, then spray the entire can down the thottle body and turn the truck off. After letting the truck sit for 10 to 15 minutes you start it up and run the truck down the road. I have bought cans of it for all the vehicles I own, until the local dealership parts department raised the price on it and I find seafoam cheaper now.
