It wouldn't hurt to get an extended warranty for when the tranny fails you. Think about it. If you pay the 1000 for the warranty, you won't have to pay the 2000+ later on. WHat does the dealership offer for you, warranty wise?

And the steering is prob the trac bar, I just had mine changed several months ago and it made a difference.

If you lift it...expect to go through ball joints, tie rod ends, and u joints like hotcakes. So, get under her every month to inspect. I have had mine since 2003 and I dropped 2 driveshafts, a transfer casetailshaft and had the ball joints and tie rod ends replaced.]

BIGGEST TIP: Don't mod anything for the first 7 months. It will cut down on impulse buys and give you time to research every mod. I guarantee everyone on this forum has done things that they reversed or upgraded because it "seemed like the best idea at the time"

Have fun

I dont plan on lifting it. maybe an inch or two. The truck looks much bigger in person. But its def getting a new audio system since i work at best buy. followed by gps and viper remote start and security.lol if i do any mods it will be this summer when it gets warm! and itll prob be an exhaust.
