Spark Plug Poll!
I have searched and seen this discussed ad nauseum, but never saw a difinitive answer.
Which plugs provide the best performance on a stock/lightly modified setup? I've seen the preference run toward Champion Truck Plugs and the Autolite (EDIT: 3923) plugs, but I've also seen people running Bosch plugs as well.
Previously, in the '99 1500 QC 5.2L I owned, I was running Bosch Platinum +2 and had no knocking or fuel economy problems whatsoever. In fact, my '99 Dodge Ram QC 4x4 managed 19 mpg on the highway running the Platinum +2 plugs - and I beat the engine on a regular basis.
However, I am curious to see what people's experience has been with different plugs and to see if anyone switched to Bosch and then away from Bosch because of the performance.
I was running Autolites in my Toyota, but they threw a code and I abondoned them in a heartbeat - I'm leery to see what they'll do in my beloved Mopar.
Look forward to hearing your thoughts. Thanks everyone!

RE: Spark Plug Poll!
I can't say I've ever noticed a substantial difference between ANY plug manufacturer or design.
I've installed most of those in the list in my own and customers vehicles over the years.
The Champion Truck plug would be my first choice, followed closely by the Autolite copper, then the Stock Champion.
The original Bosch Platinum would always be at the bottom of any list no matter how long. Those things are junk and have caused me more problems than any single component. I wouldn't run 'em in my lawn mower if they were free... IMHO [:@]

RE: Spark Plug Poll!
Hrmmmm....I was just looking at the poll and noticed that the Autolite 3923s seem to have a pretty high following here - I might just have to drop those in and see how she does - that is, once I'm done fixing my plenum. I imagine I'll pick up a few ponies once that's fixed, I tune up the truck, and throw in a set of MSD SC wires.
