hey all im looking to purchase an led lamp, the one that goes under the tailgate on my 01. does anyone else run one of these? it looks to me that the spare hoist insert would be in the way but im sure someones already thought of that. Thanks all!

 

I have with no problems. It's close to the hoist but mine worked out fine.

I'm wanting one for my 98 too. Saw a chevy with one last night and was really impressed with how much it made the truck stand out from the other vehicles around it

I have a rollpan on the back of my 98 so the bottom of the tailgate would hit the light if I tried to open it. I ended up mounting it below the rear window. I think it looks pretty good, and a little different.
