If I were to grab axles (front and rear) from a 2500 4x4 pickup and plan to swap them into my 1500 4x4, what sort of problems am I going to run into? The first thing that comes to my mind is 1500 has rear drums while the 2500 does not. What about the driveshafts for both? Just looking into some things and rather curious. 2500 coils would be put in, and.. same for the leaf springs I assume.
