Well, I did it...I spent the money for a volant intake. I had bought 2 cheaper intakes prior and they don't even compare to the volant. (Luckily I did get my money back on the 2 cheap ones.) The volant is a high quality intake...thick plastic, slick as glass on the inside, air box for those muddy situations and an available upgrade to ram air. I figured if I spent the money on any of them I would do it on a volant. I have driven the truck once...a little improvement thus far. I will give it a while though. My next add-on is the fastman throttle body. I was considering the hypertech programmer, but I don't really want to mess with the computer. I am also considering a high flow cat., but will this drop my torque? Anyone tried this? What would any of you recommend for other add-ons?

 

msd ignition... and a 52mm throttle body for sure.
