this truck has always been a PAIN since i owned it in 03[:@]

i get a code for EGR valve, since i can't remember how long. it is way under the intake plenum which looks to be a biatch to take off so i been avoiding that little job. would any prob with EGR cause it to run rough?

i changed the plugsand wiresa few months ago. plugs looked ok, nothing unusual.

it seems to run rough when cold, then clears up a bit when warm. it really misses when in overdrive and i try to give it gas. runs better if i lock it out of OD.

any thoughts?

Well if its throwin an EGR code then something Screwed up with the EGR fix or replace
