do they make fiberglass fenders and bumpers for a 96 ram 1500 sport 5.9

 

I know one company (I don't remember the name though) makes fiberglass fenders, but I think they're flared fenders. I'm not sure if anyone makes a fiberglass bumper.

 

I have never heard of fiberglass fenders... my guess is that would really be unsafe in any sort of collision and that probably why you dont see them... as for bumpers, not Step bumpers because you really cant stand on fiberglass as you would with a metal bumper, but roll pans yes... I have a roll pan on my ram and its made of fiberglass. I suggest a fiberglass roll pan!

 

The fenders don't have any effect on collision damage (actually none of the sheet metal exterior carries any real load or is integral with the safety of the vehicle in an accident). The stock fenders are only sheet metal and can be dented with your fist...not much protection against a 3k+ pound car. The fiberglass fenders are out there, but like I said, I think they only come in a flared style.
