Heres the first video. Having a bit of trouble fixing them, so one is about it for tonight. 0-60 in a little under6 seconds, including peddaling it too. The 2-3 shift is really painful to watch, still havent fixed that problem yet.

Makes me wonder if I could go to 5800 RPMs and not end up with my engine in my lap. How many miles do you have on the rotating assembly? I know you swapped a cama few days ago (congrats), but how many miles are on your rods and bearings?
I have to fluff the pedal to get mine to shift at WOT. I guess i get scared my engine is gonna blow. I need to get the chips for my 6AL box so I can breathe easier.

Well the entire top end is rebuilt. The only things that have wear on them anymore that I need to watch out for are the crank and cam bearings and the rings, other than that everything is not a concern. the rods are only an issue when making more power. The valvetrain is what holds the motor back.Ionly put parts in there to make this a reliable higher rpm screamer. The valvesprings dont have enough pressure to prevent float at high rpms, the pushrods arent strong enough to support sustained runs to that rpm, I doubt the rockers are doing much to help the situation any either
. My motor is basicly 90% new at this point. Im really not worried about the motor anymore at all. The trans is the next weak link. After I put in the gears the rear should be pritty strong too with the rebuilt posi and new bearings and seals. Ill worry about axles when I snap them

See if you find a Dana 70 with 4.10 gears already in it. No more worries about strength and it'll be easier to install than the gears would be. I've seen them floating around in good shape for $400-$500
