Default California Custom Story

Well it is late Saturday and I am waiting for my wife to get off work, so here is a true story for you. I was visiting my dad in a campground10or 11years ago. He walks me over to a rather eccentric ex-trucker. He has a beautiful red 2nd gen 1 ton. Something about does not look right. I told him I had a 95 and he walked me over to his truck with a big grin on his face. Said he was at a rodeo in Texas and saw this truck picking up barrels. Called it a Califorinia Custom. Went down and bought it that day from the dealer. Even though it had two doors, the back seat made into a twin bed! The normal back panels were flat. I think it had been streachedseveral inches too.

Ever hear about that?

BTW his fifth wheel was beautiful too.

One more thing, I am almost 100% positive it was a 1995 Ram (well hyper-extended )cab. Windows were one-off customs too.

I have heard of these on the show trucks i believe. There is a company that takes your 3500 and puts the sleeper cab, upgraded suspension, and the fifth wheel on there. I dont know the name of the company or where there located.
