Will 34"s fit?
I want the 3" sky jacker lift kit. On their tire chart, they say 33's or 34's for that lift. Does anyone know what it takes to fit 34's? If it's minor modification, it may be worth it...
35's will fit with the Skyjacker 3", but you will rub under almost normal driving conditions, forget about off-roading it. 34's will probably fit, but I think you will have rubbing still. What size are you looking to put on (like how wide)? What rims do you have (stock, aftermarket). What's the backspacing if aftermarket. All these things will make a difference as to whether or not you can run 34's with out much rubbing.
I just put on 34's (305/70/17)on my off-road 01, with factory 17x8 rims, which is about 2" inch lift over non-off road editions, no rubbing and probably could have squeezed 35's if I had wanted.
I fit 35's w/ my 3" (before the extra spacer) and didn't have a single rubbing problem (even at full lock). However, that is with my 3.75" BS on the 15's. The 17's from an Off-road is what I had first, and I could tell the BS was not quite as suitable.

Seems like so long ago and it was only 2 years, but the first lift I put on my truck was a Rancho 3". I put 295/75/16's (34's) on a 16" x 8" rim with 4" backspacing and it did not rub, even off road.
But the big thing that has already been said is that wheel size and backspacing have as much to do with what fits as lift does, so chose your wheels and tires carefully.
