Default Newbie door questions

I recently bought a 2001 1500 Ram standard cab. Truck has 98k miles on it and is in good shape overall.

I notice when I close the door on either side I get an odd-sounding clunk. It seems like when I close the door, the door striker hits the top edge of the body striker piece. Those may not be the right terms, but can someone help me adjust these or fix the problem? Half the time the door does not close all the way unless I give it a good hard pull. I did not see any adjustment range like I've seen on older cars.

thanks!

yea most i got the same problem, its cuz i took the doors off and put them back on in a hurry. i need to lower my doors. the bolts are a little hard to access but you should be able to do it with a buddy and hand tools. i had to take my ebrake assembly off the left side and take the glovebox/ pull the dash out a bit for the right. its really not that hard to do. it just takes time.

Sounds like a pain in the tail to get to ....

What exactly should I be doing - do they come loose or are they on an eccentric where they can be turned to raise or lower the door?

thx
