Fastman TB.
I just got off the phone with Dan from Fastman. I wanted to ask him some questions regarding the throttle body, and what type of gains I should expect. He says 13 h/p, and 17 rear wheel torque. I don't guys, but that sounds incredible! Anyway, I told him what mods I currently have. I told him about how my truck lost a little bit of torque with the headers, but I was looking to regain some of it back. He said this will defiantly do the trick, like you guys always says too. I also asked him what his thoughts were on intake selections, he said the air hat was fine, but didn't really know much about the existing options out there. Anyway, he suggessted I buy the throttle body first, so I am definalty focused on getting this Fastman 52mm TB, and then doing the mopar air hat with the K&N filter. Should truly be a kill combo, and make this truck ****in rip. I'm excited to be able to maximize my headers and complete exhaust, it's going to be even louder I suspect. I also suspect I'll have the intake and TB in by spring, which will be right in time before summer hits, and all the poptarts come up here to Maine with their rice mobiles, can't wait to ****ing make them go deaf and take off on 'em hahaha!
Its funny my gains didn't feel that high. I think I need to get this thing dyno'd. Its a great mod though and I know everyone else seems to hate the K&N FIPK but its worked well for me. Have you thought about modding your kegger?
Yes, since I bought the truck in July and since I have done all the exhaust (long tube headers, y-pipe, gutted cat, super 44 muffler), I can tell the truck has a ton of torque. I tap the pedal and the thing starts to leave rubber on the street. As SirHilton has indicated, there is a chance I believe that this truck may have 4.56 gearing. It would explain why the truck has such powerful torque, and why it can climb the powerband so fast out of 1st and 2nd gear. It'd also explain why it has **** top end. I'm very eager to put the air hat and throttle body on though. Dodges react good to everything for some reason. This truck is a true beast, and it tears ppl apart off the line, which I love. Today I got stuck at a light next to a stupid little mistubishi spyder eclipse. I ****ing blasted the exhaust in the little poptarts ear. Then the light turned green and I ****ing mashed on the pedal, truck jerked a quarter sideways and then finally got traciton and then I ****ing smoked him up to 60mph, it was an incredible feeling. I had my friend in the truck, and he was just like, "my god, this thing is an offroad and street beast". The headers made me loose a little bit of initital torque, but once it hits 3,000 rpms in 1st gear, it's all right back and ready to go. It's why I'm so excited for the intake and t/b, I just love street racing off lines, its my hobby

IT is said that you need close to 20 hp to feel a noticable difference
just saying, but with the exhaust system neon has it should make an incredible diff

Just some advice: slow down and concentrate on getting your headers fixed. Get that mod corrected and the truck running tip-top with what you got, then look for the next mod. Its always fun to look into the future but I would concentrate on getting the header mod dialed-in.
Just my $.02.

I don't know if I have asked anyone this or not, but does anybody currently run the Volant Intake set-up? And if so, do you run the additional/optional air scoop. I just really like the look of the Volant, I also like how it draws air from the fender well like the stock set-up does. It's also equally attractive as the airhat appearance. After my header ordeal, I'm defiantly setting my eyes on the Volant intake, but I just wanted to know if anybody had some personal feedback with the kit on our Rams. I want to know if its 18 h/p gains were accurate or not, if its loud, etc. etc...thanks guys
