dead truck no bus

Default dead truck no bus

My truck dies and wont start back up for about 5-10 min in the dash it reads no bus . I've changed the relays and checked all the grounds [i think] still is the same. Had the truck at the local shop and can't find any codes or anything wrong. i'm not sure where to look or what is wrong is there any help

Try unplugging sensors, TPS, crank sensor and a/c transducer. these are all 5 volt feed to the pcm.and see if your cluster just shows the odometer.

Mt truck did the same think @ a month ago. Check the 3rd connecter from theleft on the pcm(firewall,passenger side). Mine was loose. I think its black. Mine was loose and had some corrosion. Contact cleaner and some dielectric grease and no problem since. Hope that helps...

Good advice above

MAP, cam/sync and trans temp sensorscan cause the above too.
The bus draws it's power from the same 5v as the sensors.
Crank sensor is most comon for this condition

thanks i'll try these things and see what happends. where is the crank sensor located on my truck? The bad thing is it only does it when it wants too. So i'll wait for it to mess up then i'll try these things.
