Hi, I hope you can help me with my problem, I have a 2001 1500 sport 4x4 with a 318, about a month ago I started hearing a humming/whinnieng noise, It happens when I get to about 25 mph and when i let off the gas it will go away but if I tap the gas you can hear it with every tap, the noise seems to be coming from the tranny but not sure andall fluids are fine. any ideas?

 

SOunds like a tranny problem, change the fluid, replace the filter, and adjust the bands and see what that does
