Default A Question about cheap lift..

Lemme first say that I just joined the "I just rebuilt my transmission club" ha, that cost enough to not want to mention here. My main point though is my buddy and I were talking about lift options and evidently you can buy shocks that will give 2 to 3 inches? Anyone know about this? If so, any recommendations? Is the install difficult or could a novice like me do it? Thanks alot all.. and have a good one!!

do you mean shocks that are made for a 2-3 " lift application. that is to say, you just lifted it, and now you need longer shocks

No I mean shocks you can get w/out already having a lift kit. I mean I do have a body lift kit but that is all. So are there shocks that you can put on without the need for suspension lift?

I'm sorry, but you are misinformed as to the purpose of a shock in the suspension. Someone recently posted about a helper coil you can add to your shock that "apparently" gives you a little lift, but w/o extending components (coils and leafpack) I don't see any other way that is going to happen.
