There that's better...

That's a nice truck man.
haha...thanks. I'm a member of about 4 other forums as well between the truck, supermoto racing, and street motorcycles and they all seem to use a little different coding. I keep getting confused

No problem. If you don't mind me asking what brand of suspension lift do you have on there? I've seen very few 4" lifts for the 2nd gen ram.

Well, it's a cheater 4". It is a 3" Rough country up front (coils, control arms, etc.) w/ an additional 1" custom spacer. 2" AAL (forget the brand) and 2" tapered block in the rear (which really only gave me 3" because of my sagging rear). I did the 1" spacer because my front wasn't quite level (obviously).

Green machine is going with a nice shaker hood which looks great.

I feel about cowl hoods about like I feel about flames and stripes: Unless your truck can earn them, leave them off.
Speaking of flames, Jeff, Dale, Jimmie should make for some great races this year. Wonder what will happen with DEI.
Tony Stewart is driving a TY-OTA! no no no no no.

Well, considering as soon as I get headers in I'll be doing roller rockers and cams and possibly the M1 intake, I'm thinking she'll scoot around alright. You definitely don't have to worry about flames or stripes though. I'm more of a clean look kinda guy.

If that shaker's really functional and sits on the air cleaner, I'd go with that.
Like I said, since I'm building it, I will be making whatever hood it is functional. I'm not going to be buying any of these hoods, but using the look of them as a template for my custom build.

If I created my own custom "shaker" hood, I'd be doing just that (creating an airhat and basically cutting the hood to fit around it. However, I would be making the scoop larger as I think the original shaker looks kinda small.

GLHF. Thats how my plan originally started. Way too complicated for me to want to do that.

Doesn't your scoop sit on that tray ontop of your throttle body indy (The one in your avatar)? Or did you actually fiberglasss it to your hood?

My choice would be the shacker hood design by far. Everything else is so common nowadays, go retro.
