I have a 99 ram 1500 4wd 5.2l standard shift.....I will start listing what i have done..then get to the problem.
timing chain and gears
intake and plenum gasket
tps,map,o2,iac sensors
pick up coil
plugs,wires,cap and rotor
dropped the tank cleaned and replaced the fuel pressure regulator/filter
I have done a compression check...no probs there
new cat 1 1/2 years ago

long list eh?
now onto the problem:
start it up and it idles fine,drive it to town about 4 miles it runs great no issues, when i slow down andstart to stop the is when it starts acting up and backfiring no power,dies a couple times then after a couple minutes sitting there I can drive back down the road and no problems until I slow down to stop again..then the issues start over again. Any help would much appreciated....
