Default Spoiler?!!

I just installed a hard top cover for mah bed, and my step dad said I might want to consider installing a spoiler because my back end might be a lil "squirrely" due to a downforce change with the cover. Not sure if thats fully true, but i do know that the open bed creates a vortex effect in the bed, creating better mpg then the tail gate bein down and etc. Not sure if this is a good enough reason to put a spoiler on but i was thinking of installing one for the look anyway. Was thinking of getting this http://www.stylintrucks.com/parts.as...;partid=493744
What do you guys think, and any recommendations about spoilers that would look sick and possible help with downforce?

Do you ever actually see speeds that would necessitate downforce upgrades? Even at highway speeds, I think you be fine. But if you must get one, I like that style. Nice low profile, not to gaudy or ricer looking. Does your truck have a sport truck theme going already? If not, it might not look as good as it does on the truck in that link.

You dont really need a spoiler unless your goin 120mph++, i dont think your truck will ever be going 120mph in the near future

Man...don't even think of getting a Ricer type wing!!! If you are going for looks, why not get a NASCAR style. I would keep it small. I have heard they make no difference unless you are up above 100 like Force 5 said. Up until then they are drag, lower your MPG. The tape on ones would probably blow off at that speed too!

On a side note, I once read that an (80's)Lambo Countach would get up to 180 with the wing off, 160 with the wing on.

Thought about putting one like on the SRT or nascar style on mine. Then decided that it would look strange 6' of the ground.
