4x4? if so wheel barring or front axle u-joint

jack up the wheel pull the tire in and out, if it moves then the wheel barring is bad, look at the axle where it meets the tire check the u-joints for ware, cracked boots and play in them

there both about the same amount of work to change (really same proses to do both only with the u-joints there is 1 more step, remove axle)

thats prob a u-joint. Wheel bearing is more of a loud hum noise not a clicking thats def a u-joint.

if its clicking now, it will likely began clacking, and move on to a vibration. not really something to ignore.

Mine U-joints are cooked right now, when I use 4 wheel drive i just ease into the throttle so i dont bust the damn things in half. I really dont want to replace them because the last time i did it the axle seals started to leak, and they are not fun to change
