dropping bearings

Default dropping bearings

droppin wheel bearin every 4 to 6 months what can i do so i wont have to replace them so often would a hub convertion help or can a upgrade to a heavyer duty hub and bearin

what size tires are you runnin???????. And also are you buying wheel bearings from advanced or pepboys???

im running 37s im not sure what type of bearings r in it last time it locked up at a dealership so i just let them replace them

I would say the 37's are the problem, probably gonna have to get the dana 60 axle if you want bearings to last more than 4-6 months

thats what i was afraid of that could convertin the hubs to a full floatin assembly help at all

i dont think you can full float a front axle

Yes i think it would work, im no expert, let some of the techs chime on this later and they will give you a definite answer, all i know that 3/4 tons have 8 lug wheels, which could be a problem

37 is too big for the stock axle. Especially if you work it hard.
Your rims probably don't have enough offset too. Do your tires stick out past the fenders a lot?
That places too much stress on the outer wheel bearing. that's probably why you chew 'em up so bad.

stuff a 2500 axle in there

i was considerin puttin 2500 axles with 4.56 gearsunder it im not sure what the offset is they r 15x12 rims and there out there pretty far no flares could cover them
