Good bye guys!

RE: Good bye guys!
I as well work for International. And my shop is also a Cummins dealer. Let me tell you, I like both trucks. I've had experience with both trucks. The 7.3 Powerstroke is a beast and will run forever with minor repairs as the miles pack on. Cummins is the same. Neither truck are any better than the other, so don't let anyone's opinion bother you. I see both engines in the shop on a daily basis with well over 300k on them.

You'll love it. The majority of folks on here are just super bias...I think they tend to forget that vehicles have problem...If I need to mention the fact that Dodge has been notorious for transmission problems, I think someone has there blinders on. All companies have good and bad, just take care of what you have and you will be happy. Congrats on the purchase.

so true.
My father in law has the 7.3 and never had anything out of the usual go wrong with it. He tows something all the time, either a 5th wheel, or a heavy dump trailer.I drive it every now and then and I am jealous. itsa beast that just wants to pull... at my rate it might be pulling my RAM to the garage. I won't be so bitter once the tranny is rebuilt andI sell it in 3 years

There aren't any. I love my Dodge Ram but guess what about Dodge Rams?
-The transmissions have problems
-The plenum has problems
-Dana 44s suck (1500 only)
-The back bumpers are designed like **** so they rot from the inside out
-The frames around doors are designed like **** and also rot out
-The dashboards crack
-The deathflash
-The deathwobble
-CAD system is definetly not as good as lockout hubs
-The stock steering box in the 1500s suck
-Alot of people have problems with the IAC
To say a 2000 F-250 7.3 is not a reliable vehicle is an outright lie.
True, personally I'd rather have a 5.9 Cummins Turbo Diesel, but I'd be more thanhappy to drive either vehicle that's for sure
