Default Ford 24lb/hr injectors F1TE D5A

I was changing my spark plugs from Autolite 3924s to 3923s because of pinging, and noticed that the tops of my injectors were blue. I then saw the Ford Blue Oval and F1TE D5A on it. I searched and found out that these are 24lb/hr injectors from Ford Motorsports.

When i bought the truck from a guy in 2003, he said he got bigger injectors. How many lbs over stock are these injectors? I would never think of modding injectors unless i swapped a cam or had the heads ported.

Bottom line, are 24 lb/hr injectors good for my setup, and are they worthy of noting in the sig as a "mod."

Took me 4.5 years to notice them

I wanna say your truck originally came with 19lb injectors (?). If your interested in calculating your injector needs you can try this..

Crank HP / # of cylinders/ .80* BSFC
Brake Specific Fuel Consumption (BSFC) for an N/A engine is .45 - .50

I read this in more than one place but I can't remember where. Hope it helps.
