Look, just one more time..
I konw I've make several posts on this already, but none of them answered my main questions. I want the Skyjacker 3" suspension lift kit. The problem is, I'm running 265's now. Will these springs be taller, or is this for shorter trucks (as in I'm already lifted 3")? Are the nitro shocks good, or should I buy others? Is the basic system good, or should I get a kit with adjustable control arms? What about add-a-leafs versus new rear springs? Should I get the class 1, or spring for the class 2? Do I need dual front shocks? AM I FORGETTING ANYTHING?? AAUUUGGGHH! Look, I have this chance, and even if it costs a few more dollars, I don't want to look back and wish I had gotten (fill in the blank). Any help?
I think it depends on what you want to do with your truck. The kits add 3" or 5" etc to your stock height with taller springs. If you already have a spacer or leveling kit you will get approx 3 or 5 more inches.
If you wanna do some serious off roading get the more advanced kit.
I would only get the adjustable control arms if your going to do serious rock crawling.
Dual shock lookcool but will seriously stiffen the ride. Did I mention they look cool.
How are your stock springs? If they are already tired from towing or hauling the add-a-leaf won't do much. You might actually sit higher in the front after the kit.
New leaf springs are the way to go if you can afford it.
No experience on the shocks so I can't help you there.
