Default Oil Cooler (not tranny oil)

Anyone think the 5.9L could use a motor oil cooler? I know we are all up on the add-on coolers for tranny oil, but what about the motor itself?
I don't drive WOT nor do I ever rev over 2K (except for when my tranny slips...). So I don't think I "need" one, but wouldn't it help oil and engine life?

I found this link while looking at tranny oil temp gauges.

they are cheap... looks simple to install, but afraid its a gimmic type of add on cooler.

You dont need one, I have actually seen people who have had them and there oil sludged up in the valve covers because they did run it hard enough to heat up the oil

So, unless your pullin 4 thousand pounds everyday, opt out on the oil cooler

right, good point. So, I guess that leaves plenty of space for a tranny cooler.
Thanks.
