I wish I could comment on the effectivness of my headers, but right now my truck is still in the midst of running right before I can accurately comment on that. But when I can comment on, is the hi-flow cat and muffler system. It is a great bang for your buck in many categories. Firstly you will gain torque. Secondly, make your truck sound great and be noticed. And 3rd.) It gives your truck a custom edge to it. People love seeing a truck with something done to it, and usually starts with exhaust. I drive a lot of stock vehicles, mostly my parents. He has an f-150 with the 4.6L, and a lincoln navigator with a 5.4L. And I got to tell you, they run great and all, but they don't have anything near the amount of zap and punch my truck has. It's almost sad comparing the two. Now I know some people may not like that Im comparing different companies and different engines here, but I can wrap this together. The differance between why my truck has torque and those vehicles dont is because of that exhaust. When you get a hi-flow cat and a nice muffler system, you are really getting rid of those annoying stock bottlenecks. Your increasing the piping sizes, your getting rid of those stupid resonators, and getting rid of those stock catalaytic converters. My truck isn't anythng special by any means, but for a lifted truck with 35" tires, it really hauls some ***. And it all started with that simple simple catback move. If you do it right, you can increase some impressive torque numbers, and you are really going to feel it. I sure as hell know I did, and I LOVE IT!

Im was definetly going to put a flowmaster on the truck but I wasnt sure about the cat or headers. so do the headers and cat really make a bigger difrence than just a mufler

I can only really answer this from the cat. For power, undoubtedly. You get a hi-flow cat, your making it that much easier for your engine to find its way out quicker. Not to mention, itll smarten your muffler right up even more. For headers though, yeah, made my truck even more obnoxious. My truck is running like **** **** right now, but omg, it does have one thing going for it, and that it is one of the loudest trucks i have ever heard, its nuts!

I've heard bad things about the Jet Chips for these trucks. I'd go with a Hypertech or Superchips programer over a Jet Chip. Seems like SCT is the best tuner though but it's also costly. As far as flashs go seems like most people like B&G.
