Hey I have 99 Ram extended cab2500 cummins turbo diesel every time it rains the passenger side carpet gets soaked. Is there anywhere I should look to check that is a common problem on these trucks. I did notice a small piece of weatherstripping is missing on the back of the hood its about 6 inches long and just seals up at the back of the hood could that be the problem or something else?

 

Had the same problem in my 96 xtra-cab. Did a search, found lots of suggestions, ended up replacing the gasket around the 3rd brake light (did that first because it was the cheapest - not even $10 from Dodge). Bang - no more wet carpet.
