Default How to take the emblems off the side of the truck

I'm trying to take the Dodge ram emblems off the side of my truck to black it out, and just wondering the best way to go about that?

Blow drier on high (or a heat gun) and some fishing line. Use some Goo Gone or Goof Off to remove the remaining adhesive.

Many topics already talked about on this subject: Debadging. The best and safest way seems to be, using something simalar to fishing line and a heat gun/hair dryer. Just heat her up a bit and run the fishing line behind. Be ready for some sore fingers =b. Thenclean the access glueof with some like Goo-be-gone cleaner. Just finish off with a good waxing of the area to help restor the clear coat and make sure it stays rust FREE!!

Tips: Make sure the paint behind the badge isnt already chipping off.. seems to happen a alot.
and if you use a heat gun be careful not to heat the paint up to much or it will bubble.

Hope this helps you out buddy! Any more questions just ask.
