Default Track bar

Has anyone fabricated their own track bar for a (1998) 1500 Dodge ram 4x4? I have the Dick Cepek drop bracket with stock track bar that needs to be replaced. I want to make a staight tube type of track bar using DOM tubing and some type of spherical end. Any ideas for the bushing side (what bushing to use?)? Any designs on the upper bracket? What needs to be factored when creating this set up?

I haven't fabricated my own, but when it came time to replace it (less than I year after it has last been replaced) I decided to rebuild it with a Luke's Link. Haven't had a problem since.

I considered it... Might still do it too if this new trackbar I bought doesnt last long...

I had my designs to use a straight bar too, I would make the drop bracket.
