if you want one just like that, they're on ebay from time to time pretty cheap.

I'll have to look at it after work...it's blocked. I am planning to make my own intake, and I need that part to attach my piping to, since the stock air box has an oval opening. My plan is to get one of those and run my piping with PVC, wrapped in Thermo tech with a good filter. I may make a heat shield, or try and find one for cheap.

How are those off Ebay for like $20 + shipping??? Obviously it would need a good filter, but I also have some spare DIY intake parts laying around that I could use to put a 90 degree on it and run it up to the front of the engine compartment...plus I plan to wrap it in Thermo-tec to help keep the heat saturation down, since I am sure the piping on those cheapos isn't very heat resistant. But it would be better than the friggin' POS factory box. Has anyone ever bought one of those cheapies??? A certain seller to recommend???

I got one for $50 and it came with a heatsheild. I just replaced the filter with a higher quality one and I was done. The build on it actually isn't too bad.

Dakota trucks have a factory air hat like that. You could probably get one real cheap from a junk yard for a DIY setup

Would you mind looking on Ebay to see if you can find the one you bought? I just don't like Ebay, and don't want to get stuck with something that doesn't fit, you know? But I figure the ones that are like $20+another $25 for shipping+about $50 for a good filter, aren't much better of a deal that just buying a decent one to begin with. Check out these 4...tell me what you think.
