I don't think getting his offroad wheels chromed would help since he said the lip has chunks misssing.

As for the offroad wheels check Pavementsucks.com I don't know if there are any on there for sale now but there have been. One guy had a set of 4. 3 were in good shape and one was slightly bent but he said he ran it fine on the rear and I remember he had a hard time getting rid of them for $175. There have been other sets on there for not a ton more without having one bent.

I run those Eagle Alloys I posted in the link above only in a 16x10 like I said. If you want to see pics I would try and find some. I really like mine.

I've seen a couple of sets for sale under $300.
Do you recall where? I might be interested in getting some, if I can find them cheaper than the rock crawler rims. But I check craigslist and ebay occasionally and never seem to find em for under about $100 each.
The only set I saw on PS now is $500 for the set and everyone is telling him how overpriced they are and that the max they would pay is half that. You might be able to talk him down but I don't know. I've seen them several times for a lot cheaper than that. It's one of those things I think you just have to watch.

Thanks for the info. I'm not really interested in getting them right now. I just spent all my money on tuition and books. But maybe this summer. I'll be getting a small lift and be looking around for rims so if i can find a good deal i'll probably end up with the off road rims.

I think thats how you have to be. If you wait and look you can usually find deals. If you have to have them soon you usually have to pay for what you can get which is a lot of times not the best deal.

Yeah, I fricken love those Eagle Alloys. This guy runs them on his black sport and they look sweet! I def. will be going with these, they are relatively cheap, looks sweet, and I like how deep dish they look. Very custom and street looking, yet not too bling blingy

This guy has my truck basically, so this gives me a great idea of what they look like. Hometheater, get some pix of ur truck with them, i wanna see ur ride man

Also, what is the widest I can go for the rim? The guy on cardomain that I referanced is running 33/12.5 tires and runs those eagles in a 17x9.5 . Could I run a 9" wide rim as well? What would that do by running it wider, and will the wheels stick out a lot more if I do that? I have 35/12.5/17 tires right now. And what, the offroad rims are like 8.5" wide right?

I'm pretty sure the link I posted are the same ones on my truck just a different size. These were on my truck when I bought it. The holes look a little small in some pics idk why although they aren't huge like some they aren't tiny either.
