Idk how wide stock offroad rims are. But non offroad ones are 7". And have 5.5" of backspacing. So there's 1.5" outside the hub. If offroad rims are 8" wide. They'd stick out 2.5". Basically if you got 17x10 eagle alloys with 4.5" of backspacing they would stick out 3" further than your current rims. And with the same 12.5" tires you'rs running that's another 1.25" on each side of the rim. So the tire would stick out another 1.25" from the rim.

10"-5.5"=4.5
add 1" for backspacing difference =5.5
subtract stock amount of "stick out" 5.5-2"=3"
add tire "stick out" =4.25 outside stock rim.

Of course the off road rims could have a different width or bs so i could be completely wrong. Or i could suck at life and be completely wrong too.

The offroad wheels I've seen seem to tuck the tires in where as mine stick out 3-4" probably.

I like it but its hard on the paint behind the tires. My truck has rock chips from them badly behind the tires and if you do a burnout or anything it also gets on the exhaust in the setup I have. It looks great though. The good outweighs the bad to me.

Yeah its my baby a 04 R1. My uncle bought it new as a 2nd bike to ride on the weekends. I bought it from him a little over a year ago. It mostly lived in the garage under a cover. It has around 4k miles on it never been dropped or anything. Had all maintence done on time and never abused as I know the whole history. I wouldn't buy a used sportbike if I didn't. I rode it quite a bit before I owned it.

Yeah it likes to pull the front end up in the triple digits if you get on it hard. It's been on a track a couple of times for track days but never beat on hard. It's one of the few things I have that I haven't done many mods to. Well, any really it was modded by my uncle. The only mods it has are a tank protector sticker thing, Stainless braided brake lines, and frame sliders.

What do you guys think of these rims? I think they look really sharp. These are the rims that were on the link I left earlier in this thread from cardomain. I thought they looked really neat on his black sport, so I assume mine will look similar besides how wide the tires are.

I'm not crazy about them but they are okay. I don't like how the holes seem to go out into the top of the wheel. From straight on they look okay but I didn't like how they looked that side shot.
