Some people have had good luck with them while others like me have not. I burnt out a set of those within about 5000 miles of putting them on. Summit felt that the header wrap, which they recommended to keep engine compartment temps down, was the cause. It kept the moisture and heat on the header instead of letting it get away.

I now run the Edelbrock shorties and am very happy with them.

If you're on a budget just keep the stock exhaust manifold on. Buy the headers when you have the money. For the price of the headers you listed you can buy a performance throttle body. Give that a try.

Yeah it's very helpful mod. Check out fastman throttle bodies.
It's easier to put on than header too. You just unscrew your old one and pull it off the top of your intake manifold, and screw the new one on.

Absolutely the best TB for the money.
$225.00 was what I paid last July. Make sure you get the 50mm for a 5.2, not the 52mm.

I never had to worry about anything 5.2....but DOESNT the 5.9 come factory with a 50mm? Just get a used one from a 5.9 if that IS true.
