one question how do u tell if your truck is non egr or? i have a 2001 dodge ram 5.9L(360ci)

i have a kegger off of a 5.2 that a buddy of mine blew up but it has egr and i was thinking i would just block it off but i noticed the center divider is different will it still work?

Yup you just cant cut it out as much. Well you can but removing that huge EGR port inside isn't worth the work. Best thing is a 98+ kegger. They have no divider so all you have to do is remove the runners.

ok thanks. yea i would rather have one that doesnt have the divider but figured if i already had it laying around i would use it.

and i am i understanding correctly that with the 5.9 i can just cut the runners as much as possible?

I didn't have the patience to read EVERY post in this thread, but my question is as follows.
My '95 5.2 needs the plenum fix. Is it Necessary to replace the pan itself or can I just change the plenum Gasket? I have not yet pulled the intake but I cannot afford the Hughes pan kit at the moment. Is there a reason that this would happen again if just changing the gasket? Maybe a bad design issue? Help please!
