Gentlemen, good news the Big Red dog is back in the driveway. The plugs were real bad, no motor oil, mechanic said it was almost dry. WTF ... I checked the tranny and motor oil about a 8 weeks ago. Where did my oil go???? I haveNO leaks!!!Since I got the Viper remote start I let the truck warm up alot. Could that have something to do with it???
Very disturbing, down right embarrassing. When I bought the truck, from a private seller,he told me he just changed the oil. I checked to make sure the oilwas clean and not black. Cause I did not believe him.
I'm at a loss as to how I had no oil in my truck. Any comments or opinions????

It's probably burning large amounts...can you smell it in the exhaust? You don't see any signs of leakage? Just check it more often and keep some on hand.

Plenum?
That would be my guess

And the excessive idling would increaseoil consumption due to high vacuum. It fits...

Haha Cereal, you don't live close to him do you? LMAO I remember the story you told a while back about "someone" taking care of someone's oil.
