I still have the factory tape deck and was thinking of upgrading to either a factory CD deck or just breaking down and getting a MP3 player.

Has anyone had trouble playing CDRs in their factory decks?

Every CDr I have tried worked. It has to be .cda format, not .Mp3.

No problem in my '03 Ram. They won't play in the '99 Durango though. Guess something must have been changed between the two model years.

mine would not play burned cds at all. u insert cd and u could just hear it spin and spin and spin and spin [sm=dontgetit.gif]

I ended up installing a aftermarket CD player
