Default Plug Heat Shield
When removing a spark plug, does the heat shield remain on the block or does the heat shield come off first and then the plug?

Heat shield stays.
Blow some compressed air at the base of the spark plug after you take the wire off and before you remove the plug.
Prevents **** from falling into the cylinder.
